Many of these holiday fudge recipes are even easier than your typical Christmas cookies recipes. But don’t get me wrong, I’m always up for cookies too. Here are some of my favorites:

Actually, any basic fudge recipe is pretty easy. The majority of the recipes below take 10 to 20 minutes of prep time and don’t require a candy thermometer (although a couple do).

The hardest part of the process is simply having the willpower to wait for the fudge to set (at least 2 hours). Even serving fudge is easy—it’s best at room temperature.

So, grab your cooking spray, parchment paper, and rubber spatula, and let’s make some fudge!

Christmas Fudge Recipe Tips

Christmas fudge gifts

Christmas fudge gift bags are perfect for the holiday season.

I know I said most of the above are simple Christmas fudge recipes, but I have a few general tips that may help make things even easier.

1. Prepare your fudge pan

Most of these recipes call for a square baking pan lined with parchment paper. It’s best to have your pan prepared before starting your recipe.

2. Parchment Paper

If you don’t have access to parchment paper, an aluminum-foil-lined pan well-sprayed with cooking spray will do in a pinch.

3. Melting Chocolate

For best results, use low heat when melting chocolate for fudge. Alternatively, you can use a double boiler on medium heat. A wooden spoon works best for stirring.

4. Condensed Milk vs. Evaporated Milk

Condensed milk is a common ingredient in most of these fudge recipes. It is not the same as evaporated milk. Evaporated milk is unsweetened and therefore tastes completely different.

5. From Bowl to Pan

When transferring your fudge mixture into the prepared pan, use a rubber spatula.

6. Cutting Christmas Fudge

Cut your fudge in small squares with a sharp knife (not a butter knife).

7. Storing Homemade Fudge

Store your fudge in an airtight container at room temperature. Use wax paper (not plastic wrap) between layers.

I hope you now have some new Christmas fudge ideas for this holiday season! I look forward to hearing which one(s) you make. Let me know in the comments below!
