Italian Street Food Quotes
I was raised on Italian food, so I am really picky about its quality. Since the food I grew up with was always handmade with lots of love, restaurant food in the U.S. doesn’t usually come close to what I would enjoy in my own home. And so today, I follow in my mom’s and nonna’s footsteps and prefer to make homemade marinara, Bolognese, risotto, cacio e pepe, pesto, etc.
However, when I travel to Italy, all the food I find is delicious—even on the streets. The food in Bologna—amazing, food in Milan—amazing, food in Rome—amazing, food in Tuscany—amazing, food in Campania—amazing, food in Naples—amazing. You get the picture.
So, when Italy calls, answer with the following captions:

Street food is near and dear to my heart. A bit of personal history: Before I became a personal chef, I tried to buy a food truck on EBay. This was in 2005, before the big surge in food trucks in America.
That plan didn’t work out, but that’s not stopping me from trying everyone else’s street food! Whether I’m on a lunch break or searching for a midnight treat in a foreign country, I’m always up for the best eats on the streets!
